Julian Seidman BA, FCA, Client Finance Director -

Julian qualified with Grant Thornton and his six years there included a spell in its corporate investigations department. Subsequently he became Finance Director at Queensway Securities, a role that included the flotation of part of the group.

Julian was subsequently Group Finance Manager of Carlton Communications during a period of rapid growth, had corporate accountability for the electronics division, and was involved in the group’s acquisition programme.

He used the experience he gained there to become FD of Eurosat, the leading UK distributor of satellite TV equipment. He applied these skills over a ten-year period as FD of three other companies involved in the distribution of electronic products, latterly as interim FD of The Accessory People plc.

His particular strengths are in controlling working capital through a period of growth and ensuring that systems are implemented that allow this to be done speedily and cost-effectively.
