David Shrimpton FCA, Non-executive Director -

David Shrimpton is a chartered accountant who spent most of his professional career in the accountancy profession, specialising in corporate finance and corporate governance. As a senior partner with BDO Stoy Hayward, he established and successfully ran their Corporate Finance Department for ten years, building up the largest unit dealing with smaller quoted companies in the UK profession. He also has experience working at senior level for HSBC.

David retired from BDO Stoy Hayward in 2001 and is now a non-executive director on a number of boards, two of which he chairs. He brings to us a wealth of knowledge and business know-how, in particular working with growing companies and regarding Stock Exchange regulations and corporate governance best practice. As our non-executive director, he helps to drive the business forward while maintaining the arms-length detachment from day-to-day client assignments that an effective non-exec must have.
