George Abrahams Limited, a £40m-turnover meat wholesaler in Smithfield Market, has increased its profitability with assistance from FD Solutions.

Despite problems with one major supplier and the start-up costs and investment commitment for a large acquisition, the company managed to:

• increase operating profits;
• obtain increased facilities from existing bankers; and
• expand its trading division.
